TAMARKUZ Represented With First Crop at Fasig-Tipton July

Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile-G1 winner TAMARKUZ will have his first crop offered at Fasig-Tipton Kentucky’s July Sale of Selected Yearlings. Hip 348, a chestnut colt out of One for You, by Dayjur, and bred by Coal Creek Farm, will be consigned by Terry Nickell and Mark Tsagalakis’ Endeavor Farm, as agent. In 2018, the first weanlings by TAMARKUZ were well received at Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. Four were offered, all four sold, with two going over the $100,000 mark. Hip 1069, a colt out of Abby Road (IRE), by Danehill, and bred by Glidawn Stud, was purchased by Jerry Dilger for $140,000. Hip 2399, a colt bred by Dermot Joyce out of the Broken Vow mare, Confession, went for $110,000 to En Fuego Stables. For the sale, weanlings by TAMARKUZ averaged $82,500, with a median of $80,000, the highest average and median by any first-crop son of SPEIGHTSTOWN.
