TAMARKUZ First-Crop 2YO Brings $160,000 From Lael Stable at OBS

The first 2-year-old offered from the first crop of Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile-G1 winner TAMARKUZ brought a final bid of $160,000 from Roy and Gretchen Jackson‘s Lael Stable at the OBS March Sale. The colt, hip 663, was bred by Dermot Joyce out of the young Broken Vow mare, Confession. Consigned by Pick View LLC, agent, the April 17th foal worked a brisk 10.2 in the Under Tack Show. He was the only horse the Jacksons purchased at the sale.
