SIR MAXX Romps by More Than 10 Lengths

Making his second start back off a six-month lay-off, SIR MAXX quickly grabbed the lead after the break in a nine-horse field and widened his margin at every call to win a six-furlong test by 10 1/4 lengths at Indiana Grand. The 4-year-old son of ALBERTUS MAXIMUS was a debut Maiden Special Weight winner on dirt here last year in open company and also had a runner-up finish in a turf allowance, beaten just 1/2 length. Out of the Tactical Cat mare, Intallclover, SIR MAXX races for his breeder Clovertowne Thoroughbreds.
