SALARIAQ Rallies to Get Second Win in Four Starts

Making her second start of the year after placing here nine days ago, SALARIAQ closed from fourth to win this one mile handicap on the turf at Limerick. The 4-year-old filly by DAAHER made her move to challenge for the lead in between horses with less than a furlong to go and finished strong to get the win by a neck. Last year, SALARIAQ won her second start after a runner-up finish in her debut, defeating 13 rivals to win a 1 1/16-mile maiden race on the turf at Gowran Park by two lengths. Bred in Kentucky by Galleria Bloodstock and Rhinestone Bloodstock, SALARIAQ is out of the Group 3 winner Alabaq, by Riverman. Her second dam is Salsabil, champion 3yo filly in Europe and Ireland and triple Classic winner who became the first filly in 90 years to capture the Irish Derby-G1 in 1990.
