MY HEART GOES Narrow Runner-up in Irish Day S.

A stakes winner in her second start of her juvenile season last year, MY HEART GOES ON got caught at the wire to finish a head back in the one mile Irish Day S. at Emerald Downs. The 3-year-old filly from the first crop of G1 SW Millionaire ALBERTUS MAXIMUS grabbed the lead soon after the break, but then reigned back to allow another to set the pace. She regained the lead on the far turn to open a three-length advantage and just missed inside the final yards. From eight starts, MY HEART GOES ON has won or placed in five stakes. She was a wire-to-wire debut winner last July by 2 1/2 lengths and then followed that up with a victory in the Angie C. S. in her next start. She is a Coal Creek Farm homebred.
