First Crop 3YO ALWAYS WAITIN Leads at Every Call in Maiden Win at Dundalk

Having placed in two of his three starts to date, ALWAYS WAITIN assumed the lead soon after the break and was first to the wire in this one-mile Maiden test at Dundalk. The 3-year-old colt from the first crop of Breeders’ Cup winner TAMARKUZ was away in good order to rush up and grab the lead early. Racing comfortably on the lead, ALWAYS WAITN was challenged at the top of the stretch but was able to fend off his foes and win by a head. The $140,000 weanling is out of the stakes-winning Danehill mare, Abby Road (IRE), and was bred by Glidawn Stud.
