First Crop 2YO Places in Second Consecutive Stakes

Making his third career start, DOBLE FONDO finished runner-up for the second straight try in stakes company this time in the six-furlong Clasico General Jose Antonio Remon Cantera. Last time out, the 2-year-old colt from the first crop of ALBERTUS MAXIMUS finished runner-up in the G3 Clasico Arquimedes “Fat” Fernandez D. at Hipodromo Presidente Remon, in Panama. In his debut, DOBLE FONDO was an eight-length winner in which he equaled the track record for 5 1/2 furlongs. He was bred in Kentucky by Cindy Greer Harmon out of Lira Lira, by Canaveral.
