An impressive eight-length winner in her debut, MOHAYMEN’s first crop 2-year-old filly ELM DRIVE showed a lot of heart in her second start to bring home a victory in the Sorrento S.-G2 at Del Mar. The $165,000 2YO sales purchase by owners Little Red Feather Racing broke well from post seven to sit just off the pacesetter. She moved up on the turn to challenge for the lead and the two battled down the stretch with ELM DRIVE gamely holding off her challenger to win by a head. The pair were more than 13 lengths in front of the next horse. ELM DRIVE was bred by Kenneth D’Oyen out of the Indian Charlie mare, Lets Dance Charlie.
