DOBLE FONDO Takes G1 Sprint Championship International

A Graded Stakes winner at 2, 3, and now 4, DOBLE FONDO ran away from the field for a dominating 9 3/4-length win in the G1 Clasico Francisco Arias Parades y Alberto Arias Espinosa (Sprint Championship International) at Presidente Remon, in Panama. This is the top sprint race being the only G1 run at six furlongs. From the first crop of ALBERTUS MAXIMUS, DOBLE FONDO has now won or placed in 11 of 14 starts, including eight wins. He is a four-time GSW and in those victories, his average winning margin has been by more than eight lengths. In his 2YO debut, DOBLE FONDO equaled a track record with an eight-length tally going 5 1/2 furlongs. He was bred in Kentucky by Cindy Greer Harmon out of Lira Lira, by Canaveral.
