DAAHER Gets Two Winners on Same Day at Meydan

After a 7 1/2-month lay-off, ETIJAAH returned with a strong 5 1/4-length win in a 1 1/4-mile handicap race on the main track. It was the fifth win in the last 11 starts and pushed his earnings to $163,016. The consistent Shadwell homebred out of the Darshaan (GB) mare, Hasheema (IRE), has finished on the board in 19 lifetime starts. In March he won the Al Ain Mile by 1 1/4 lengths.

AJRAAM took the lead inside the 1/16th pole and won a six-furlong handicap on the main track by a nose. The versatile Shadwell homebred won his first two career starts, including a debut win going one mile on the turf at Newmarket. AJRAAM is out of the Danehill mare, Abby Road (IRE), and has won or placed in nine of his last 14 starts and now has career earnings of $128,406.
