ALLIED COMMANDER Romps to 5 1/4-Length MSW Score

Having placed in three of his last four starts, ALLIED COMMANDER ran to the heavy favorite billing and won this six-furlong Maiden Special Weight by a commanding 5 1/4 lengths. The 3-year-old son of ALBERTUS MAXIMUS challenged for the lead early, was two lengths in front by the first half mile and then widened his margin through the stretch for an impressive win at Fairmont Park. Out of the Deputy Commander mare Giant Commander, ALLIED COMMANDER, the 13th winner from his sire’s first crop, was bred by Fred Cornwell who also trains and races his in partnership with Robert L. McMillen, Sr.
