3YO MY HEART GOES ON Leads the Way in Second Stakes Win

MY HEART GOES ON defeated ten rivals to win the blacktype Three Year Old Filly S. at Emerald Downs by one length. The daughter from the first crop of ALBERTUS MAXIMUS took the lead soon after the break to set a comfortable pace with a 2 1/2-length advantage for the first six furlongs. Going a mile on the Washington Cup Day card, she was challenged near mid-stretch but dug in to turn back that foe and then drew clear to get the win. MY HEART GOES ON has now won or placed in six stakes and has earnings over $112,000. She was a wire-to-wire debut winner last July by 2 1/2 lengths and then followed that up with a victory in the Angie C. S. in her very next start. She is a Coal Creek Farm homebred trained by David Martinez.
