3YO MAXIMUS MIDANI Wins Going Away in Second Start

Making his second career start, MAXIMUS MIDANI drew off in the stretch to take this seven-furlong maiden by an impressive 6 1/4 lengths. The 3-year-old son of ALBERTUS MAXIMUS hopped at the break to be last early and was nearly eight lengths off the lead after a half. He swung three wide on the turn, then four wide nearing the top of the stretch and closed with a rush to take the lead by midstretch and won with authority. A homebred for Angelinos Racing, MAXIMUS MIDANI is out of the Cat Thief mare, Blue Indygo.
