3YO MISS SAVVY Wins Second Straight at Woodbine

MISS SAVVY is now two for two this year after her wire-to-wire win a Woodbine. The 3-year-old daughter of DAAHER broke well from the outside post in a field of eight to seize the lead promptly. Pressured by the runner-up all the way around, MISS SAVVY was able to fend off her closest challenger to get the win by 1 1/4 lengths going six furlongs. She was coming off a three-length win her last month which was her first start in more than 4 1/2 months. Last year in her second start at two, MISS SAVVY came from off the pace to earn the victory. She was bred by Tom Evans and Pam Clark out of the Rahy mare, Soother.
