A winner at Gulfstream earlier in the year, GRAND GINJO won for the third time taking a one mile and 70 yards allowance by nearly three lengths at Indiana Grand. The 3-year-old son of DAAHER tracked the front two until the far turn. He swung out for his rally heading into the stretch, took the lead near the top of the lane, then turned back the challenge from another and drew away. GRAND GINJO was a six-length maiden winner in his third start as a 2-year-old last year at the Fair Grounds going a mile. GRAND GINJO was bred by Bill Meyer and Cathy Meyer out of Brahms Top Shelf, by Brahms, and is trained by Joe Sharp for owners Wayne Sanders and Larry Hirsch.
