3YO COOL ENOUGH Sets the Pace Throughout to Get the Win

A 5 1/4-length Maiden wire-to-wire winner in her third start last year at two, COOL ENOUGH again set the pace to get the victory by 3/4 length going seven furlongs. From the first crop of Breeders’ Cup winner TAMARKUZ, this 3-year-old filly was bumped by the horse to her outside after breaking from post seven, but recovered to grab the early lead. A challenger got within a length heading into the turn, but she added another length to her lead as that horse quickly dropped back and COOL ENOUGH maintained the lead to the wire at Charles Town. Bred by Morgan’s Ford Farm, she is out of the Macho Uno mare, Make Waves.
