IVY’S COLLEGE FUND, a 4-year-old filly by ALBERTUS MAXIMUS, drew clear to win by two lengths for her second victory at the Keeneland Spring Meeting. Stalking the pace early, she took advantage of room along the rail around the turn, then switched out between horses as they turned for home and out finished her two closest rivals to get the win in this six-furlong sprint. This was her fifth career win and it pushed her earnings to $91,83. In her win here back on opening weekend, IVY’S COLLEGE FUND took the lead soon after the break in a 12-horse field and never was really threatened to win by three lengths. A Maiden Special Weight and allowance winner at 2, she was bred in Kentucky by Sharon Edgell out of Whowhatwhy, by Deputy Wild Cat.
