2YO MISS SAVVY Rallies in the Stretch for Woodbine Win

Making the second start after an on-the-board finish in her debut, MISS SAVVY closed through the stretch to win this maiden test at Woodbine by 1 1/4 lengths. The seventh 2-year-old winner so far this year for DAAHER broke outward from the outside post in a 10-horse field to find herself 6 1/2 lengths off the frontend after a half in this 6 1/2-furlong sprint. Swinging four wide on the turn, MISS SAVVY rallied through the stretch and ran past the leader in the final sixteenth to get the victory. Bred in Kentucky by Tom Evans & Pam Clark, she is out of the Rahy mare, Soother.
